attended the town hall meeting and in no uncertain terms made their feelings
known to the Gillard Government's servile departmental representatives.
As expected, Immigration Minister Chris Bowen was nowhere to be seen.
In fact neither were any other Labor or Greens senior representatives.

Didn't Know About
an Aboriginal
Land Rights Claim
A special
thank you to the WA Aboriginal Community for pointing
out that this land is allegedly
the subject of a native title claim.
That comment from the floor raised an issue about which none of the
representatives seemed to know anything.
Neither could they say when the land, leased from the Northam Municipal
Council in 1935, was sold to the Commonwealth.
We wonder if they know the remaining buildings on the land are also WA
Heritage listed or that Burlong, nearby, is the summer home of the
Wargal?
John Moorehouse assured the crowd that "no tender had been let,
yet". But then on several occasions the name of the main
contractor was mentioned. Lies, smoke, mirrors, from the Gillard
Government ... but the people weren't fooled and this is just the
beginning of the fight.
This is shaping up to be another badly planned "roofing insulation/ education revolution"
debacle! And it appears Chris Bowen will be Labor's next Peter Garrett!

will spend $500m to upgrade Indonesian schools

Australia will
spend $500 million building 2000 schools in Indonesia in an effort to
improve the prospects of Indonesia’s youth and moderate the influence
of the country's religious schools.
The five-year initiative was announced yesterday at a joint press
conference by Prime Minister Julia Gillard and her Indonesian
counterpart Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. A commitment to forge a broader
economic relationship was endorsed, and people-smuggling and the fate
of Schapelle Corby and the Bali nine were also discussed.
After Dr Yudhoyono urged Australia not to ‘‘pressure’’ it after a video
showing Indonesian soldiers torturing Papuans became public, Ms Gillard
did raise the issue but only to praise the Indonesians for bringing the
soldiers to trial.
The program to build 2000 new schools —
providing places for more than 300,000
junior secondary school students — and upgrade the curriculum of another 1500
Islamic schools builds on a successful program already being run
by AusAID. Australia has already funded the construction of 2000
primary level schools.
Indonesia’s Islamic schools ... have produced terrorists... , most
notably the cleric Abu Bakar Bashir’s school in Ngruki, central Java,
where some of the Bali bombers studied.
The Islamic schools have been poorly regulated and the standard of
education has been low.
By paying for
1500 madrasah, as the schools are also known, to adopt Indonesia’s
national curriculum, students will receive a more traditional education
in the sciences, history and humanities and not focus so heavily on
studying the Koran.
Diplomats said that while the agreement
went beyond a traditional free trade agreement, negotiations could be
tricky as Indonesia still has strong protectionist instincts. Full

Labor Stand Over Man
Tries to lock media out of meeting!
Gavin Troy unsuccessfully tried to ban the
media from filming inside the meeting hall while the meeting was in
progress and threatened to have security remove people with cameras.
Union bully boy tactics like that may have
worked in his day, but this dinosaur was out of his depth before an
angry crowd of citizens.
It was only at the last minute that Shire President Steven Pollard
prevailed upon Troy to meet the media and the crowds demands and allow
broadcasting of the meeting.
What is the
Solution?
One Nation firmly believes that Australia should do its utmost to
assist genuine asylum
seekers who are fleeing persecution in their own homelands.
Where we differ from the Labor Party,
in particular, is that we believe that as a sovereign nation we should
have control over HOW, WHERE, and to WHAT EXTENT we assist the needy.
We would seek, were possible to work within the frame work of the
United Nations various branches dealing with the linked, but separate,
issues of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. But we will not
be dictated to by the United Nations any more than would China, Indonesia, India or many other
countries.
We would seek in the first instance to direct our assistance to solving
the problem at its epicentre. Failing that, in the next nearest country
to the conflict or civil/religious unrest.
Only as a very last resort, would asylum seekers set foot on Australian
soil and even then it would be on the basis that they would not receive
automatic residency or citizenship.
They would however be entitled to the same basic rights as Australians
- no more, no less.
Should such people then show themselves fully willing to put Australia first, to work, to learn to speak English and
to commit to integrate into our culture would they be invited, with the
agreement of the Australian people, to become permanent residents and
later, if shown to be law abiding - citizens.
One Nation firmly opposes queue jumpers, illegal immigrants, those with
no intention of ever integrating and those who wish to impose their way
of life or the often endemic corruption of their former cultures upon
the rest of Australia.
In other words. You join us on our terms. Or you leave.
We are a generous people, but Australia will not be put upon and is
not the world's automatic dumping ground for displaced humanity
from every local war or religious persecution.
On Race
One Nation believes that every human being regardless of race, color or
creed has the right to be proud of the positive achievements of their
own family, tribe, community, city, state or nation.
We are not racist and we are not haters. These are words that used
everywhere with malevolent intent - especially by the so called "far
left" and by toxic communists. The very words themselves are hateful
and divisive.

Gillard to dump 1500 male asylum
seekers on Northam!
Julia
Gillard has no mandate
whatsoever
to place 1500 asylum seekers in the Northam Military camp, or anywhere
else in Western Australia for that matter.
Whether of not the camp is
Commonwealth territory is irrelevant.
That camp, like every other
square meter of this nation, belongs to the people. The
Commonwealth is the servant of the people, not its master. We refuse to
accept bogus asylum seekers.
